Beautiful, elegant and luxurious designs are always welcome in my book. These particular ones were created by Neliana Fuenmayor and I love their creative simplicity.
These selection of images are beautifully styled and the use of the ballet bar reflect the designs perfectly. Neliana also has a great video on her website, that you should definitely check out.

Vandana Jain and short films
I've always been interested in short films, since the days of making 'educational' videos about coal mining with barbies when I was in High School. But on a slightly more serious note, I love the little fashion films that accompany bigger projects, almost as an after thought but they have so much effort in them. Fashion156, A Shaded View on Fashion Film and Fashionair are good examples of top notch short fashion film makers on the side of their day job.
The images above are screen grabs I snatched from the opening intro film of Vandana Jain's website, I love their grainy texture and rather eerie quality, I suggest you go to her website and have a cheeky look at the film in it's proper context. The content of her site is beautiful, as you wander around films follow you and who I assume is Vandana herself, follows you as you explore.

The Weeks of Dasha
Another fashion film post! I am so impressed and intruiged by film maker Emil Klang's project, The Weeks of Dasha, documenting a girl's arrival and first year in Stockholm. This is a very ambitious project set to last for one whole year. It started in the first week of 2010 and a new, weekly episode has been popping up ever since.
Each episode, not only documenting Dasha's week, also focuses on a brand or item of clothing to draw it back towards fashion. My favourite item featured was in the first episode (which can be seen in the video above) is a pair of Chloe shoes that I want in my life...
Every episode is beautifully shot and directed by Emil, I love the little touches like her make up and Chanel mint green nail varnish at the beginning where Dasha changes the date each episode. I wonder if the colour will change with Chanel's seasons...
I suggest you head over to the website and check out The Weeks of Dasha, now up to episode 18, it gets rather addictive after a few episodes.
