Here's a nice flowery post to celebrate Mother's Day, well if you're in the UK anyway. Happy Mother's Day to my Mother if she's reading!
Anyway, back to business, this is the work of Marie-Louise Vogt. She is a knitwear extraordinaire hailing from Hamburg and I've loved her previous collections full of chunky, knitted, multi-coloured pieces. Her S/S '10 collection, 'Hey Gorgeous', is much more detailed and developed from her previous, mixing mediums of sheer fabric with chunky, knitted flowers. I love the femininity of this collection, not only from the florals but from the delicate knit and flashes of flesh.
Not only is it beautiful, it's also environmentally friendly using only natural materials and an organic manufacturing process. She has taken the basic elements of knitting and made them amazing. It is the perfect combination of craft and fashion.
For more info and to look at her previous collections, visit her website.
I have some vintage dresses ending on ebay soon, click here if you fancy a look!
OH and thank you all so much for reading/following my blog, I have over 100 followers now so I got rather excited... Thank you, hope what I ramble on about is interesting to you!
