Emma Hedlund
These are pieces from Emma Hedlund's graduate collection from when she graduated in 2008, I know it's a little old but I feel that it fits in with this season's trends perfectly. Plus, I think it's a little bit amazing...
Inspired by skiing and mountain climbing wear, this collection plays on S/S 10's sports, militia and aviation trends. The jewel encrusted goggles were the first thing that caught my eye, as shiny things always do. But then I noticed the wonderful structure of the shoulders, metallic detailing and attached backpacks. Now, if you want to get my attention, just make a collection that is shiny, has weird pocket/bag attachments and exaggerated structure. I'm easy to please really!
I also love the photography and styling, as I usually do with the things I post, I think it fits the collection perfectly and the first image is just beautiful.
