Put on your red shoes and dance the blues

(Photography by Will Epps, check out his online portfolio here)

So it's been a while since I showed my face on my blog so, in honour of my new shoes, here it is...

I wear this outfit on a regular basis, it's basically what I wear if I can't think of anything else to wear, pair it with a pair of plimsolls and it's perfect for going shopping or pair it with a pair of 6 inch wedges, slick on some red lipstick (Russian Red by MAC if you're wondering, which I just recommended to Winnie of Diamond Canopy who is a very happy customer!) and you're ready for a night out!

The shoes, however, have not had a chance to get out of the house before now as they are newbies. I picked them up when I was in London a couple of weeks ago and totally fell head over heels in love with them. I excitedly showed them to my boyfriend as soon as I got home and he said they were the brightest thing he's ever seen me in, seeing that we've been together coming up three years now, that does not say much for my wardrobe... I think I definitely need a big colour injection, I think being in the sun over the next few weeks (if British Airways strikes allow...) will reignite my love of colour.

The shoes are from Feud London by the way, if you haven't heard of them before I heartily recommend you visit their website because they have some very cute shoes and have a very original design aesthetic, you can buy them on Amazon, I can't find them anywhere else online! The t shirt is from Topshop and the shorts were cut off from a pair of Gap jeans from a charity shop which cost me the princely sum of 50p.
