Vintage Threads and a kind of outfit post...
Vintage Threads is over now and I'm pretty much ready to sleep for days... It was a lot of fun though and we met some lovely people, including the lovely Steve and Eliza from Style Salvage.
I didn't trust myself to look round as I knew I'd return with more than I started with so I just stayed around our little vintage section which was a rather huge unit in the bottom of The Triangle, Manchester holding about 12 vintage sellers including Mat and I. All of the sellers were lovely, I'd love to show them all to you but alas not all have an online presence...
The top image is of jewellery made by the lovely Nicole of Yellow Squirrel, she hand makes everything she sells, is a primary school teacher by day and has the best horn rimmed glasses ever. I suggest you have a look at her pieces on Etsy. I also treated my boyfriend to one of Nicole's boyfriend's comics with a lot of lovely zombies, he's called Harry Shotton if you fancy a look at his work too. We like him, he's pals with Adam Cadwell so that's good enough for us!
Another vintage seller who had a rather wonderful cape I had my eye on, was Ruthie McCall vintage who should have added some new pieces to their online shop today so go and have a gander! I did let myself purchase a few silk scarves courtesy of heavily discounted Ruthie McCall which you may see soon as I am planning a proper outfit post very soon in the next few weeks...
The photos above (apart from the one of Mat showing off our wares which is mine) are courtesy of the lovely Kate, as mine didn't come out say great due to our messing around... But I needed to show you a little bit of Vintage Threads! Plus, does this kind of count as an outfit post as I'm actually showing my silly face?
I'm very much looking forward to the next one and hoping to soon have enough room in my wardrobe to actually fit my clothes in!
Now time to enjoy what's left of the Jazz fest in Nantwich before I fall asleep for a very, very long time.
