Chary Westberg and drum roll please...
I first fell in love with Chary Westberg's graduate collection whilst working at Fashion156.com, we used her pieces for The Artisan Issue and they were one of my favourite pieces at that shoot, though there were a lot of amazing designers, you should really check it out!
Anyway, I love the fabrics used throughout the collection, they were a mixture of very heavy red suede and orange velvet, all topped off with pink suede wedges. All of the colours should have clashed but instead they worked perfectly together.
There are so many layers, panels and drapes involved here which would be rather difficult to wear and you may die of sheer heat on the tube in Londinium, but aren't they just lovely?
Chary doesn't have a website as of yet but you can see catwalk shots of her collection here. The images above are from AnOther and they're a bit magnificent.
Drum roll please! Time to announce the lucky winners of my Laura Mackness for Weekday and Benefit goodies...
I used the random number generator thing but didn't want to spam this up with screen grabs so you'll just have to trust me!
The winner of the Laura Mackness for Weekday t-shirts and leggings is....
Heleen db! Who has a lovely blog, which you should definitely check out. You lucky girl, make sure you take some snaps of yourself wearing them and let us all see!
And the winner of the Benefit goodies is...
Mariska Deasy! Who also has a lovely blog so go there too!
Finally, the winner of my favourite comment and mystery prize winner is Mariel from Shining and New so she'll have to email me to find out what the prize actually is...
Her comment was:
My favourite day of the week is probably a wednesday.
In english, you can say
wed
nes
day
which is always fun, and in japanese it's 水曜日 or sui-yoobi, water-day. Which is nice, wednesday always has a fluid feel to it, it's the middle of the week, anything could happen.
Which I liked because I feel like I learnt something by reading it and felt happier after doing so.
I'm sorry to everyone who didn't win, but I'm sure there will be plenty more giveaways in the future, just keep your eyes peeled! Thank you for entering, you are all brilliant, I can't believe I've nearly got 300 followers now...
