Because of this event, I've realised my sheer lack of beautiful, wearable jewellery. Don't get me wrong, I have far too much jewellery for a person who only ever wears silver ear studs and a ring my mum gave me 10 years ago but nothing that I'd wear to an event to make me stand out.
I went for a little last minute stroll around the internet and stumbled upon Georgia Wiseman's jewellery which would have been perfect for this occasion, seeing as I'm wearing gold and black... Alas, it is too later for this evening but maybe another time?
I love the use of different types of metal, like the joined circles creating a base for the gem or linking together to make cascading earrings. My favourites are the last pair of earrings and the second ring, they are just too beautiful.
